[ForumEngine] Control all basic information

Path Engine settings > Settings > General
This section allows you to set up general information for your site. Beside the main information you have set up such as Website Title, Website Description, etc; you can also insert your social network account to be displayed on the site.

  • Social Links: You may add your Twitter, Facebook, and Google Plus, Contact email links to boost your social media presence. Customers will see these links in the footer

  • Google Analytics: This is a service offered by Google that generates detailed statistics of the visits

  • Change Custom Slugs: You can redefine a new slug for thread and reply

  • Email Confirmation: To require users that must confirm their email addresses after registration, click on [Enable]. Otherwise, click on [Disable]

  • Google captcha: To require users that must enter captcha when creating the topic, click on [Enable]. Otherwise, click on [Disable]

You can also choose the category and the user roles that member must enter captcha when creating the topic

Note: If you are using the reCAPTCHA V1, unfortunately, it has been shut down since March 2018.
Please make sure that you have updated our theme to the latest version.
After the update, please obtain new reCaptcha v2 API for the feature to work by getting a new key with the link in the Setting section. 
  • Allow to view: To require users that must log into their account to view a thread in the category wasn't selected below, click [Enable]. Otherwise, click on [Disable]

         You can also choose categories that user can view without login
